“Hong Kong's Première Indie-Classical Festival”

Conceived by HKNME flautist Angus Lee & violinist Sean Lai, PCMF took place for the first time in 2018. Aimed at creating a platform for local young emerging musicians, PCMF grants invited ensembles and artists total artistic rein in curating their own programme.

The Festival also aims to foster international exchange, with one international guest artist invited to the festival each year, performing at the Festival's Opening Concert, in addition to the opportunity to curate a solo recital programme.

This year, receiving support from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and the Calvin Chan Foundation, PCMF 2019 will feature eight concerts, four ensembles, two visiting international young musicians and three visiting young composers.
