SONIC ECOLOGY

SONIC ECOLOGY, the first sound-based platform advocating environmental awareness and engagement in Hong Kong, brings together composers, sound artists, film makers, scientists and researchers under the same roof. Structured around performances, workshops and a conference, SONIC ECOLOGY provides a platform to reflect on new ways the arts can respond to pressing issues of our time, including climate change, global warming and sustainable development.

This initiative is part of the practice-based research practice CARAVANSERAIS, a meeting point for multicultural and multidisciplinary exchanges and interaction.
