Caravanserais is a meeting point for cultural and interdisciplinary exchanges. This is HKNME’s highlight practice-based research platform from 2019 to 2021.
HKNME’s new initiatives in engaging musicians and media artists from various geographical locations will establish a practical methodology mediating between musical practice(s) and aesthetic reflection. From 2019-21, a team of composers, musicians, artists, scholars and curators convene in Hong Kong, to collaborate, experiment, research and observe - by organising hands-on workshops, seminars and conferences - to develop creative outputs that explore the deeper meanings of artistic productions in our time.
